MEET THE BAND
Based out of the Greater Milwaukee area , MR-YUK is a blues/rock band comprised of musicians with diverse backgrounds, musical tastes, and experiences.

conceived by Ted (drums) in late 2007, he called upon ex bandmates Dan hill (lead guitar), and T. (vocals,guitar) who have played together for nearly a decade in other bands.

With the later addition of bassist Greg, (bass) brought together a powerful incarnation featuring four dedicated members who, combined, offer a unique, edgy sound, cutting guitar riffs, catchy melodies, powerful vocals, and strong beats.

A multi faceted musician who started as a small boy knew that he wanted to perform. A singer/song writer quite capable of playing guitar, sax, drums, keyboards, flute, and many other instruments has been playing in bands since he was a teenager.

Classically trained at Carroll college T. would go on to play in many rock bands such as SLM ,and ?

Today T. rocks out through a fender guitar through a unique amplification system, the front man of MR-YUK and is the resident prankster(asshole).

Growing up on the family horse farm Dan was fascinated with an old guitar laying around the house, he had to learn to play.

Dan asked his mother to buy him a guitar but she insisted that he should learn piano first, so he took lessons. soon after he earned enough money giving pony rides on the farm to buy his first electric guitar.

after many years of practice he started his first band, unsuccessful he was determined to continue. After being in a few bands like SLM and Calamity.

Coming from deep below the earth Dan now performs with MR-YUK playing on a Gibson les paul and a Marshall amp he electrifies the underground studio with he's edgy riffs.

Ted has been a veteran of the local music scene since The early 90s, honing his playing skills in bands like calamity and SLM, this drummer has grown into a talented hitman. Through the years, Ted has developed an exceptional sense of feel for different styles. He likens his innovative, technical style of playing to early influences ranging from Zepplin and Cream, to Queen and Emerson, Lake & Palmer.

Ted now enjoys jamming at the underground studios with MR-YUK on his Gretsch Drums, Zildjian Cymbals.

Bass

Like most of his band mates, Greg's’s musical addiction began at an early age, growing up with the classic artists and tunes we all still love today. If he’s in the car, working, or in the shower, music seems to always be playing.

Going out to watch local bands gave Greg a clear understanding of what live music is all about. Beginning guitar, it was a lack of bass players in the Milwaukee area that provided the avenue to pick up the bass guitar. He never looked back.

Greg's’s talent, a vintage Fender Jazz bass, and a Genz-Benz amplifier provide a smooth and steady low end to MR-YUKs sound
